Spoiler: show
The best place is probably the Berserker. I thought what we were seeing in the manga was a Vasto Lord, or at least at that level. Everyone told me I was wrong. However seeing the fight in the anime reinforced my opinion. Ulq said several times Ichigo was using abilities that only a hollow could use (cero, sonido, telekinesis). (This is not quite true in the case of a cero since the Vizard can use it, but it requires that the user be at least partially a hollow to produce a cero or something similar.) Instant regeneration (another hollow only ability) is coming, as from the manga its clear that the hollow repairs almost all the injuries to Ichigo's body after its mask is damaged which puts the hollow back in check. He also said Ichigo was a human who had turned into a hollow as he lay dying from the injuries Ichigo had already inflicted. Or something to that effect.
My take on this is that as near as I can figure Ichigo has three parts (human, shinigami, hollow). When the berserker came out 2 of them were dead, or so near dead as to be totally irrelevant, as a result of Ulq's cero through Ichigo's chest. What was left was the hollow and without the other two parts restraining it (which I imagine is similar to the training technique Yuuske used prior to and at the beginning of his fight with Toguro), we got a glimpse of its true level. The interesting thing is that the reverse must also be true for the shinigami and human parts when it comes to how powerful Ichigo is. That means what we've seen Ichigo use since the soul society arc is simply what his human and shinigami parts have left over after suppressing his inner hollow. (That would also explain how the mask gives him more power since it lets him tap the hollow's power without letting it gain the upper hand.) If that's the case then at this point in the series if Ichigo could access any one aspect completely he would be the most powerful character in the series bar none. That includes Aizen with the Hōgyoku and Yamamoto at the peak of his abilities.
Lets see... What else from this episode... Uryu tried to fight Ulg to buy time. Not very successfully. Orihime tries to heal Ichigo and protect Uryu. Again not very successfully.
